So, given that this is starting to look like a full-on case of the ten plagues of Egypt, I think it might be smart to start thinking about keeping all the first-borns and only children safe from that last plague. Which, if this schedule keeps up, will hit at midnight on November 4th.

For those of you who don't know, the last plague of Egypt was the death of the firstborn children of Egypt. God's chosen people were saved by painting lamb's blood on their doors and staying indoors. SO. My boss and I think it might be a good idea for us to find a place to gather the first-borns and the only children, and paint the doors with lamb's blood. I mean, we could all go out and get our own lamb's blood, but how much of that is REALLY going to be available in the city, especially when we're cut off from god knows how much of the state? So we conserve blood, get people in one place, and hope for the best.

Sound like a plan? Anyone know a place that would hold a lot of people?

The Kashtta Tower has plenty of room to spare, and more than a few empty beds in the dorm areas. I'd be happy to offer shelter to anyone who needs it for as long as the plagues last, as long as no one minds the ghosts. They're unsettling, but harmless.

Awww. Big T, you do remember Catholic School. I don't know whether I'm proud or dumbfounded.

I think it would be wiser to put people in an auditorium of sorts, rather than an office building. Because then you don't run into the problem of, "Well, does it count if we just put the blood on the front door? Or do we have to put it on the actual door of the office/dorm/place the person is staying?" Because it was the doors of the homes and the very idea of home, and turning away the angel... well, it's all a big mess.

An auditorium would be a lot easier to cover those bases with.

We also have to question whether or not these plagues are the same.

Everything that falls through the rift changes, doesn't it? Hopefully not too much has changed. At least I can appreciate the irony of dying in the plagues.
